Bill and Barbara Williams

We are natives of Anson County, NC. Barbara is a retired educator and I am a retired forester. About 25 years ago I began weaving, and for many years I repaired chair bottoms. Now that we are are retired, weaving is an enjoyable hobby.

Most of the chairs and many of the various stools we have are older pieces that have been refurbished. I use a variety of weaving materials including oak, hickory, yellow poplar, fibre rush, and seagrass. Also, there are different weaving styles and patterns you can see in our gallery below.

Being a part of the Village of Yesteryear is a highlight of our year.
